Already from March 1, 2007 onwards, vehicle restrictions in environmental green zones can be issued in cities and local districts in Germany. Therefore the respective zones were specially marked as being green zones by the city or municipality. The first environmental green zones are coming into force as of January 1, 2008 in the cities Berlin, Cologne, and Hanover. As from this date on german as well as foreign vehiceles are no longer permitted to enter these zones without the environmental badge.

Take the A10 Berlin Ring Road (Berliner Ring) to the motorway intersection “Drewitz”, then continue on the A 115 until you get to the motorway intersection “Funkturm” (broadcast tower). From there, take Exit A 100 towards Wedding/Seestraße until you come to the junction at Müllerstraße. Turn right and keep going (the street becomes Chaußeestraße) until you get to Invalidenstraße. Now turn left; Torstraße is the fifth street on your right.

Take the Berlin Ring Road to Motorway A 114, Exit Zentrum (City Centre). The motorway becomes Prenzlauer Promenade before becoming Prenzlauer Allee. After a while, the road leads into Torstraße, where you must turn right.
